Babyscapes, Inc. was founded in 1996 by Keri Mann, a mother of two young children who had grown frustrated by the lack of multi-sensory stimulation products available for infants and toddlers. Through the collaborative efforts of basic parenting knowledge coupled with child development experts, she and her husband, Steven, researched and developed the award winning Babyscapes Video Series. 1996 Created the first infant stimulation video, titled Baby's Smart Start thus creating an entire "infant video industry" Received the prestigious award, "National Parenting Center Seal of Approval" 1997 The immediate success of the first video, coupled with customer demand, led to the creation of Celebration of Color. 1998 Created the award winning video, Miracle of Mozart, Numbers and Shapes. Received three awards, "Dr. Toy Ten Best Audio Visual Products, Dr. Toy 100 Best Children's Products and Parents Choice Silver Honor" 1999 Created three new videos: Miracle of Mozart - ABCs; Miracle of Mozart - Numbers and Shapes in Spanish; Miracle of Mozart - ABCs in Spanish Babyscapes video series recognized as the premier quality educational and infant and toddler stimulation series.
