Babyscapes, When my son was 20 months old and didn't speak, I started to fear that he was going to have a developmental problem. I even started having thoughts that he may be autistic. I started putting on the Babyscapes numbers and shapes video for him to watch, and now at 23 months he can count to 10!! He yells the numbers along with the video with such pride, and today I cried tears of joy to see him count to 10 all by himself. I highly highly recommend this video to other moms, and I am now going to buy him more Babyscapes videos!!
Dear Babyscapes, Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! When my son was a year and a half old, his grandmother bought him the Numbers & Shapes video for Easter. He loved it! Here comes the most amazing part......Within a month or two of watching this video, I started to realize that he was saying the numbers along with the video. Before I knew it, he was looking at numbers everywhere and naming them! I know this is difficult to believe. No one else believed us either until they saw him do it! We couldn't go anywhere without him finding numbers somewhere! If we were entering the grocery store, he would look up and yell out the isle numbers or the numbers on a price tag! It was so amazing that his other grandmother ordered him the alphabet video and sure enough....within a couple of weeks, he started recognizing the letters! Now he is obsessed with the alphabet! He didn't just memorize them in order. You can write a letter down (in any order) and he will tell you what it is!!!! He is 21 months old. We have this on video tape (a million times!!!) so we'll be glad to share it with anyone who questions what a child gets out of watching a video! I have NOT worked on numbers or letters with my child. He has completely learned them from Babyscapes! This is why I say, Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!!! Many other parents have seen him do it and they've bought the videos too!
Dear Babyscapes, My mother gave me both the "Baby Smart Start" and the "Celebration of Colors" videos when my daughter was about two months old. She absolutely loves both, although she prefers the "Celebration" video now that she is older. I have tried to interest her in other videos such as BabyEinstien ( which was a mistake, why mess with perfection, right?) and she will only watch Babyscapes. Thank you so much for your creation. I know that my daughter's love for music and the fact that she is already performing at well above her age level is due in large part to your outstanding video series.
